There are numerous misconceptions about the word ‘introvert’. Introverts are very socially awkward, very bad at talking, very anxious all the time…. and all this is very untrue.

When an introvert is quiet, don’t assume he is depressed, snobbish or socially deficient – Laurie Helgoe

Years ago a lady stood up for human rights by sitting down on a bus. Rosa Parks epitomises unspoken courage. She was a champion and a fighter but not many know that she was also an introvert.

Being quiet and shy are often seen as disadvantages, but these qualities have never stopped introverts from being successful.

From Rosa Parks to Albert Einstein to Mahatma Gandhi– we are surrounded by the astounding examples of successful introverts, and INTROVERT. hopes to bring forward more.

At Introvert Edit, we want to honour and celebrate the introverted personalities with articles for and about introverts. Scientifically, we have a clear definition of an extrovert, but we define introverts by what they are not.

What are introverts? They aren’t extroverts. Introvert Edit plans to go beyond this rudimentary definition and present the various facets on an introverted personality through our multimedia platform which includes our digital magazine, Podcast series and our e-commerce platform.

Our team consists of all personalities. From introverts to extroverts to many that are both- we invite all perspectives to work with us. In a noisy world with blaring celebrity gossip, widespread unhealthy body images, and scandals, we bring to you a quieter perspective.
